I'm a new Maschine user, I don't have enough posts to ask for a feature request. But what would be really nice is to have a Notes (like writing notes, not musical notes) option for scenes. Then you could add scene notes about your developing piece. Like favorite instrument options, tweaks you want to remember, where a scene fits into a video, things to investigate, your creative vision for what it does in the song etc.

Sorry to hear the seller did not include the software to the Maschine Controller you purchased. I do have a suggestion that may or may not be to your liking. You can purchase the Komplete Kontrol M32 which comes with MASCHINE ESSENTIALS
(full MASCHINE software plus 1.6 GB MASCHINE Factory Selection). Just to let you know if you ever want to upgrade to get the full library Native Instruments provides an upgrade path from there. This is not a bad option in my opinion. Hope this helps.

There are notepad VST plugins that you can add to sounds/groups that allow you to jot down info for future reference.

    like:

    and

    https://www.meldaproduction.com/MNotepad

    Both Free!

How about show some consistency and give me a 32 bit version for my ProTools 10. It makes no sense why the newest kontakt player and reaktor player will install 32 Bit versions for ProTools but my paid machine software will not!! It’s not hard for you to do it obviously, just make it an optional installer - I just paid to upgrade and I’m very disappointed that I can’t use this how I intended. Now I’m stuck on version 2.7 and still waiting on support to get it fully working.

Maschine isn't the only software to ditch support for 32 bit and the amount of companies doing so is only going to increase. I really can't see them backtracking in it's production to support 7 year old software.

Maybe fixing the KK controller screens bug ? 500 bucks for a keyboard and navigating with it in Maschine is lagged, not in KK... lagged to the point u don't want to use it.

They are showing consistency, by ditching 32 bit. You should be trying to do the same also.

A few more keyboard shortcuts. Octave up/down for selected patterns on the press of a button, select all patterns after marker with a keyboard shortcut etc.

Can you guys please add a feature in maschine that allows you to see ghosts channels in the piano roll? basically a feature where you can view two piano rolls at once from different patterns. FL studio and many other daws Have implemented this feature and it is extremely helpful, many other maschine users have requested in the past as well for many years now

This has happened to me on a few occasions as well, I'm not sure why or what's causing it.

I had the same issue with the encoders. You just need to turn them a bit more, so they don't fluctuate between values.

By the way Moss now has included the Maschine Mk3 in the DrivenByMoss extension. He makes use of the MCU mode to display names, values and colours, it has a step sequencer, note edit mode, scales... this solution seems to be way more advanced than the script for Live. Haven't tried it yet, though.

I would like to second this. Integrating Maschine into bitwig or ableton projects and / or exporting maschine projects to either has been annoying enough for me that I've more or less stopped using the maschine software and just started using it as a generic controller most of the time. I'm seriously considering just selling it and buying a push.

Moss does make a Maschine mk3 profile now, but I've had a ton of issues using it with bitwig. It seems to work for some people, but for me at least, a lot of the features listed either don't work or bug out. For example, I can't get the octave shifts to work. WHich means that if I want to use more than 16 pads in a drumkit/synth/whatever, I'm SOL. Still worth a try though I guess.

I understand that NI wants to get/keep users on their platform, but at what cost? I mean even battery - which is a NI instrument - doesn't automatically map correctly.

Have you reported this to Moss? It feels to me like DrivenByMoss is the biggest chance for a real integration in a DAW, because his project has been going on and growing for a while now and his thread is very active. I have to try the new extension, too. But yeah, imagine NI would allow to control the displays via USB like on the Push... Though I'm quite happy now, routing audio and MIDI between both Maschine and Bitwig as standalone apps.
