We should all know our tunes.

    BUT...

As collections get larger, hearing gets worse and memory fades, looking at a waveform to see when the break or vocals are can become a hit-and-miss affair. Especially when the waveform takes up near the whole height of the viewing window and you really can't determine when a vocal or particular drum sequence is about to start (or finish).

In one of the following v1.x updates, it'd be nice to be able to add comment markers - in oppose to cue points, load markers, etc - that simply highlight the point at which something occurs.

I think it'd useful. For one example (just one; I've got more if you need them), I might create a shortened form of the phrase "Last 16 beats before vocal" or "Last 4 bars before break" so I know that now would be the time to set a loop, rather than capturing that last beat which contains one word and have the loop start again before I get the chance to deactivate it.

We need to see what we've named our cue points without jumping to them or fiddling around with a cursor.

You wouldn't necessarily need specific comment markers as not all cue points need to be hotpoints. But yeah this is certainly something that could be improved and is a retrograde step from Traktor Scratch/Studio 3

one way of doing something similar is when you drag your mouse over a marker it tells you what it is labeled as. i know thats not exactly what you are asking for but it could go along the same lines.
