    Hi,

I am getting an iPad Air soon and was just wondering that since the NI Audio6 & Audio10 interfaces got updated to work with Traktor DJ, is there any hope for something similar happening to the Z2? I read from the sticky on this subforum that master out + cueing is supported, but without mixing controls etc that will not get one very far.. I understand that enabling such support might take time, and am willing to wait as long as it takes - just let us know if there is any hope for us Z2 users? Or do we have to wait for the Z2mk2 / Z4 to get this functionality with iOS Traktor software?

Z2 support would be awesome since I could use it for both casual (ie iPad) and "pro" (ie laptop + TSP + timecode deck(s)) playing..

    TIA & Cheers

The Z2 cannot be used as a 'Made For iOS' (MFi) device. It will never be fully functional with Traktor DJ in the way that you are asking. It simply is not possible due to restrictions set by Apple on which hardware can access 'MFi' applications.

The TA6 and TA10 have always been Class Compliant devices and have been compatible with TDJ but it is not Class Compliance that stops that Z2 from being compatible other than as a soundcard.

If there were to be a Z2MK2 (and I have no information on whether there is) it would have to have some physical hardware changes for it to be considered as an 'MFi) device.
