    hello
I've got benq laps with AMD centrino 1,8 ghz 1,5 gb ram ,win xp and TS works good but on "low latency" . On "minimum latency" works with some static (like in old telephone or very old vinyl ) so i changed for some laps with intel core duo 1,8 ghz and it was no differences :/ So i proposal that TS don't using core duo on win xp . Now I'v got hp pavilion with pentium 4 3,2Ghz 1,5 gb ram and TS works very good on "minimum latency" ,very rarely i heard this "static" ( please tell me what is the reason of that?)

The second problem of my HP are "dimensions" 17" and 3.5 kg weight so i decided to buy macbook

So please tell me- core 2 duo 2ghz , 1 gb ram its enaugh to works good on minimal latency, and using some midi controller?

    sorry 4 my english
    thanks

    hp 2710p, a 12" Tablet/Convertible PC

    Core2Duo ULV 1.2Ghz, 2GB Ram, 100gb 1.8" 4200rpm disk, Vista Business/Ultimate

Works perfect on default settings, changed keybutton-quality to best, always on. The only thing I changed is USB latency from 4 to 8.. I don't scratch so I don't really care.

The only issue I have, is the single-core analyzing, as my cores are quite low clocked, it takes long to analyze. Hope to see that changed one day. (And the Pen-Control-Bugs I'm submitting.. see my post on the forum).

    installed TS successfully on:

    IBM thinkpad
    celeron 1,7 ghz
    512 mb ram

clean windows xp sp2 completely tweaked

TS running flawlessly on minimal (!) latency possible, as long as you're not trying to use key lock.

with key lock, latency has to be raised significantly.

i'm very impressed, since this computer is below the minimum requirements.

I have the same computer. what kind of latency are you getting. Traktor Scratch stops recognizing timecode signal below 10 ms

    MacBook(2.0Ghz/Leopard)
    4G Ram

I'm getting 2.5ms which is enough for me.
when i take it down to 1.0ms starts to glitch.

How do you get latency that low! I tried changing it in Traktor, but it I think the Audio 8 DJ soundcard just fails if it is anything lower. How do you get it so low?

that's very strange - a friend of mine uses lowest latencies with his macbook also.

do you have wireless and/ or bluetooth turned off?

Will need some hefty tuning to get rid of audio dropouts, but TS runs functional on my netbook under Mac OS X 10.5.4. (Just a proof of concept, with a latency setting of 60ms).

Medion akoya mini E1210 (OEM of MSI Wind U100).

    See video [ame="http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=GvTi5epfhLU"]here[/ame].

Please install XP, tweak the system and report again.
(Illegally) installing OSX on this thing is just as stupid as installing Vista on it.

    New laptop;
Sony Vaio FW11S 4GB ram, 320GB 5400 RPM HDD (Clean install of Vista business SP1),
    Traktor scratch 1.3.1, Audio 8 (1.6.8)

Runs really stable (a bit surprised since it is Vista.)
