I wonder if anyone else has ran into this type of a problem: I just upgraded to R5 and the computer keyboard mapping is totally wrong. According to the R5 manual (pg.450 to be exact) the notes should start at Z and go on all the way up to I. Now the only keys I get to work are the top row's "black keys" 2, 3, 5, 6 and 7.

Tried different language setups, too, but it didn't help.

You have to change language setup BEFORE starting Reaktor.
(You can then change back after the program has started. So you only have to be running US Extended for a few seconds)

I have norwegian keys, and if i dont change to US Extended i have the same problem.

Its the same in all NI apps, if keys doesnt work, change to US Extended (or German should also work) before launching the app

    Thanks for the tip!

Just out of curiosity, do happen to know if this is an OS X Tiger related problem? I've also had some keyboard related problems with Adobe After Effects on Tiger.

yes its a problem that appeared with Tiger. afaik its related to scandinavian languages, there was a mention of this being improved in 10.4.3 i think, but its not completely fixed

it also screwed up key commands in Logic 7.0 but they fixed it back again in 7.1.1

i'm sure its a problem in other apps too
