Connect Omni control to Speakers?

Hey... i got a Omni Control.
I want to buy some good speakers (i guess that they should be active?)

since i dont want to use my home stereo (i want to hear what i am doing)

Is it possible to connect the omni control directly to the speakers?
...and how to connect the speakers with eachother?

hi,

if your active speakers have and RCA input, just connect these with the Omni Control Master outputs (left to the left speaker, right to the right speaker - no connection from one speaker to the other required!)!

these are fine and make really crystal clear sound - and you can add a subwoofer if you want.

 

Aha ok, thanx very much! I guess that you mean:

Output 1 (from the Omni Control) to the left speaker with RCA
Output 2 (from the Omni Control) to the right speaker with RCA

on the back of the omni control the names are:

Output 1 "L R" (these two to the speakers)
Output 2 "L R" (these deliver the same audio as the headphone out at the front)

 

hmm... you say:

Output 1 is only 1 Red and 1 White...

Do you mean that i should connect: Output 1 R to right speaker & Output 1 L to Left speaker? That doesnt seems right?

I shouldnt use: Output 2 at all... or what?

Please sort it out for me.... im a total beginner at this

The outputs of "OUTPUT 2" have the same signal as the headphone output at the front of the Omni Control.

for a better understanding:

if you want to use a CD player with your active speakers how should the wiring look like?
CD OUT L to left speaker
CD OUT R to right speaker

the same as the Omni Control ;-)
