    As a newcomer to using my laptop as an amp & recording device I'm mightily impressed with NI's help so far. all is working on my downloaded GR5, but I'm having trouble linking it to audacity. Please can anyone advise me on the correct way of proceeding please? If possible keep it as simple as you can, I'm 50 years old & computers are like fire to a caveman to me lol.

    One option is to use the Guitar Rig plugin inside a software/DAW which supports plugins.
    In case of Audacity have a look at this video: www.youtube.com/watch?v=Xc4VD8lR0ig

    Another option is to record audio directly into Guitar Rig's Tape Decks. And import the recorded audio files into Audacity later:
