Hello all... I know everyone is patiently... or impatiently waiting on 1.5... LOL... I just had a few questions...

    1. How will this consolidation work?.. Do we open and resave? What will be different. Honestly, Im asking this because I have never looked at the current arrangement in detail to appreciate the difference.

    2. Destructive Audio Editing with Trim... "Trim" is that equavilent to truncate?

    3. What are the "VARIOUS OTHER ENHANCEMENTS"? We wanna know! LOL... Just kidding... Anyway I hope everyone stays creative and we will be blessed with 1.5 soon.... 2mrw is my birthday (2/25) and that wouldve been the perfect gift... But I'll take a Happy Belated Birthday gift on Friday (Hint Hint @ N.I.)

    Peace

    1. the way i understand it, this is a feature where you can save a project - and the samples into a single folder. this is necessary if you have to work on different projects.

    2. yes.

the difference is that your projects become easier to backup and more mobile, in theory, a consolidated project folder holds everything related to a project. If you have that folder you have the project.

That's how it works in ableton live and other software, as well as on the mpc. It will hold the project/sequence data, settings, and all samples used. So all you need is that folder to open the project.

Great for keeping a lean setup for live situations, or working on music with other people, or just for general backup.

    can't wait!
