Control Room Pro help

i can't seem to get a nice tone with this Control Room Pro, is there anyone that is fairly experienced with this and can give me tips? here's a preset that I have been using

I can use it fairly well. What is your sound system like? Do you use a guitar amp (if so what kind and also the speakers), studio monitors from your computer? Also, what kind of music do you play and what kind of guitar do you use mostly?

 

I use my monitors when I'm at home, but use my laptop through 1x12 amp when I'm out and about, unless I'm using headphones.

I just want a nice sound to go through headphones and monitors when I'm home.

I'm not sure how to explain what I play, would you like me to send you a patch?
I play through a 1973 Gibson Les Paul Custom, all original electronics and everything.

Would it be possible for you to kind of walk me through all the best possible settings for Control Room Pro?
