    Hi
Newbies questions...: I'd like to control synths, like Massive or Retro Maschines which I play in Komplete Kontrol via the Maschine (MK2), such as filters or morph slider.
My (naive?) assumption is that I can e.g. control a filter with the knobs of Maschine (in control mode). Is that possible?
The knobs are sending midi cc signals to the synth, but not the "correct" ones? Isn't there a template or so for the respective synth which set's the knobs automatically to the correct midi CC value? Per default the Maschine knobs seem to send on midi cc 22 to 29 and 14 to 21, but I'd like eg to send on eg 75 (cutoff?). Isn't there something I need to install, like a template for Massive or Retro Maschines etc?
    Thanks for your hints.
(is NKS something I need to understand?) A side question is why I cannot see the Maschine as possible controller to select in Komplete Kontrol (I could select Komplete Kontrol S25 etc, but not my Maschine MK2)

You are doing it backwards. Use Maschine 2 software with Maschine controller. Maschine controller was not designed for KK software which is basically a striped down version of the Maschine software.

oh, yes. Thanks a lot. I was not aware that the KK software is the light version of Maschine
Will this work as well when I start using a DAW ? I am evaluating right now and might purchase Logic or equivalent (I have ableton, but I realize I am thinking in more classical structures of music... so.... I am evaluating)

Maschine will work in your DAW as a VST instrument. KK software does have a couple features not found in Maschine as of yet, It does not have the focus follow feature where selecting a different track in your DAW will allow the S series Keyboards to follow plugin selection. But that is only relevant if you have a S series Keyboard hardware. KK software also has more extensive set of scales (modes). That's pretty much it for the advantages on the KK side. Note that while the Maschine hardware does not control the KK software, the S series keyboards do work native with Maschine as a controller.

Check out the respective product pages for an overview of the features.
