controllerism: more modifiers, more bits, more conditions

    1) please give us more than 8 local modifiers per device page. Yes we can create extra pages, but this makes the options page very slow to open, and a lot of repeated code to "share" modifiers between pages.
    2) please give us more than 3 bits per modifier state. 7 bits (the same as midi messages) would be great
    3) please give us more than 2 modifier conditions. I'm finding myself doing all kinds of tricks to emulate 3 and 4-condition commqnds.
    4) please introduce global modifiers shared across all pages

    I think this list would give the most usefullness on the shortest development time to implement.
    Especially #1 and #3 are just more copies of already existing features!

    Products such as Bome's MIDI Translator Pro thrive because of Traktor's mapping limitations. DJ Tech Tools often recommends Bome's MIDI Translator Pro to get around such limitation, when instead what they should do is put pressure on NI to improve the mappings system.

    I'd love to have more modifiers, more conditions and global modifiers too. In fact, I'd love a proper scripting language like what Deckdance has (unfortunately the software isn't being developed anymore). Editing mappings in a text editor with if-else conditional statements, any number of user-defined variables and constants and the ability to retrieve parameter values from the software would make mapping creation considerably easier. I invite NI devs to take a look at Deckadance because it has the best mapping system out there.

    They don't listen to any Controller Manager improvements sadly :(

    After the lack of communication, the more frustrating aspect of this request is that this is just MORE copies of existing functionality.

    For 16 modifiers is this essentially a C++ #define that affects arrays and for loops, a small extensiom to the TSI format, and putting a second row in the controller manager GUI?
