controllers drop connection

    My setup is:
    • an S4
    • an F1
    • a macbook air 13' (2013) 1.7GHz i7 (dual core) / 8GB
    • Traktor pro 2 (the version that came with the S4)

    And I can't use my S4 and my F1 at the same time.
    They just stop working with traktor after a couple of minutes. Also the usb light on the S4 starts blinking. If i use them by themselves there is no problem.
    So I think they just lose the connection with traktor.

    Does anybody know what the problem could be here?
    Is my laptop not good enough for two controllers?
    The laptop is not running hot at all.
    Or is it a software problem?

    What version of Traktor, because maybe its worth upgrading to the latest or at least the latest driver? If you're using Remix Decks with your F1 I'm guessing its at least 2.5 so its pretty recent.

    I'm on 2.6.0 with an S4 and F1 on a much older Mac, so system spec isn't your issue, possibly something with the USB driver? This again makes me think for you to make sure you have the latest driver.

    And I am using traktor version 2.6.3 and im checking the driver versions now.

    Are you running the separate power for the S4 or just using USB to power it? If only using USB then the 2 devices are drawing too much power when used together.

    I also have the same problem with my Air (2013)

    I returned the Air got a new one and same thing... USB connection drops after 30 mins to 1 hour, and I have to restart the air to recognize the S4 again... USB light stays blinking and everything else stops!!!

    I'm using just the controller by itself, though!

    Might be a problem with the new Airs.

    It's driving me insane, it has happened twice already live!!! SMH :/
