    Hey, I want to use a midi keyboard to modulate the sounds from my microphone. I am using logic express (can i do this without logic pro?) and i just cant get it to work. I tried using orange vocoder a while back and couldn't get that setup either. its probably to do with sidechains or something but I cant see a sidechain option when i open vokator as an AU. I'm really stuck. Could anyone please tell me how to set this up or point me somewhere? some simple info like; route your mic into the first audio track, load vokator on your first instrument track, link them by... etc etc. thanks guys, dren.

    Welcome =)

    The readme in the documentation folder describes in detail how to use it in Logic 6 (I don't know about later versions; I'm not a Mac user).

    I'm pretty sure that with any version of Logic you need sidechains.

    Thanks. After searching the web i've come to the conclusion that you need logic pro (sidechains) to control live vocals from a keyboard. If someone thinks this can be done in logic express please let me know. I am now using ableton live instead. thanks, dren.
