Convert (Midi) Switches to Selector Position

Hi,

i'm stuck for 2 days, read the very fine manual and googled for hours, i tried several combinations but i still don't understand it.
Sorry i think this is a somewhat basic question... can't see the wood for the trees
searched for an example in the user library also...

i have a midi hardware controller with switches (behringer bcr 2000)
i want to select different signal paths with the switches,
if i use a "studio mixer" it works but the signals get added up,
i know i have to use a selector if i only want 1 signal path at a time,
if i use a fader or knob control to set the selector Position it works just fine
but i want to use my switches, and hey! thanks for reading
