Converting Mouse Xy Area To Receive Osc?

Hello Reaktor heads,

I am wondering how to convert/modify a "mouse area" interface in a Reaktor instrument to receive OSC X/Y data. Currently, I can assign the OSC X and Y data to the mouse area, but it doesn't react at all like when clicking with a mouse.

It does explain a bit why what I am trying to do is a bit difficult! I don't have the time or Reaktor skills to pull off this kind of modification, but I would be open to hiring someone else who does.

You could also send the OSC directly to whatever the mouse area is controlling, with a switch or merge to handle both input types.

 

that sounds like a good strategy.

 

Or what about swapping out the Mouse Area for an XY controller?

 

This could work, if die MA is sending out X & Y Values instead of px/py - but i would try the merge method first
