Is there an ensemble or module than can convolve/morph sounds in Reaktor? (not merely crossfading, nor vocoding, but actually morphing from one sound to another? Something like Acoustic Mirror in Sound Forge or Wave Warp's spectral morphing modules)

If not, will/can version 3.3 contain a control module to convolve sounds over time? I just realized how much time I spend convolving sounds before using them in the sampling modules of Reaktor.

Yeah. That would be great. Past the last months I asked my self how i could realize convolution or physical modelling in Reaktor. It would make reaktor an even more powerfull tool.

As far as physical modelling goes, there are a few in the User library, including Steampipe which currently reigns king. But I have found others from users that also design in Sync Modular. Creating SDL's in Reaktor is quite easy, tuning them is another matter.

Morphing from one waveform to another...will require alot of sine waves, and alot of FFT. But there are ways to explore interference between waves without doing it on a sine by sine basis. Freq multiplication, FM etc can create patterns that may serve as an acceptable transition from one sound to another. By playing with amounts, and modulation index, you may be able to make something that has an effect of transition, but for cheap.
