Copy and paste issue

Hi there, sorry for opening a thread regarding problems already discussed in the past but everything I found searching in NI forums had already been closed.

As per my title, I'm not able to do copy and paste of selected events anymore: I'm sure I was able to do that before updating to Maschine 1.5 (which is my current version), but I can't say if problems arise right after moving to version 1.5.

I think what I do is correct, as I use hardware with shift + pad 11 and shift + pad 12, but nothing happens (for trying to paste events into the same pattern and for trying to paste events into a different pattern, with events that appear as selected on my monitor).

Is there someone still in the same situation? Any idea on what happened and on how to solve it?

press the select button on the maschine controller and check the left diplay:
-> is the 'events' button (button 2) activated?

 

Hi Jens, thanks for your answer, yes the events button is activated and events on laptop monitor are selected.

I thought it is a known bug as I found other threads, as said before, concerning the same problem, am I wrong?

Hi Matteo, struggling for 2 days with the same problem.
So is this an official bug with 1.5?
Until then I guess we have to live with 'duplicate'.

 

Hi Gunhee, cool I'm not the only one (joking of course ).

Let's wait here for someone else from NI, otherwise I'll open a ticket with support.

And yes, duplicate could work as a workaround, but that's a different feature :|
