come on NI you can do it!
automation of FX or levels is key in many electronic genres,in Maschine software the workflow is being hampered so much by the lack of (simple) automation curve management tools (Copy/Cut, Paste, Lines & Curves)
Even less need for a DAW if you implemented this.

Let me get this straight: so if I have a pattern containing not only notes, but also modulation data (eg., from the Mod wheel, expression pedal or sustain pedal), and I want to copy this pattern from one group into another group, you're saying that only the notes will be copied even if I select all events????? Or, in other words, Maschine is still unable to copy the modulation/automation data from one pattern to another, even now, at version 2.4??

This would bring Maschine to the level I need it to be at.

So many bumps. +1 from me as well. This must be something worth updating, but I almost imagine it becomes a feature if they ever release maschine 3.0. I'm tempted to go to other products with features like this being unavailable. At least reach out to us and let us know you think SOMETHING about the matter Native Instruments.

Workaround: Copy the pattern, delete all notes and record new ones over the existing automation

That workaround doesn't work at all.

It works fine if you duplicate the Pattern (i.e., not just copy/paste the notes), then remove the notes. However, it's not ideal for all circumstances and actual copy/paste of the modulations would, of course, be better.

+1 Having this problem with sustain pedal: I am selecting different parts of a 32 bar take. When moving notes within the pattern the sustain data remains in position and starts to work on places where it's not supposed to - resulting in cut off chords. First of all this is strange behavior imo - but if anything I simply want to move the automation data within the pattern - that's also not possible. Must be fixed.

I requested this in 2011. Maybe 2020 is the year...

+1 _ its such a basic request. Whenever you resample something that has modulation on FX SEND (aux outs) its obviously needed. It's not the same as resampling with the FX ON, because loops in Maschine can not handle tails properly.
