copy paste wonky

    hi, have just started using bat2 and when i select a cell then with the edit menu select copy, then select a blank cell and then with the edit menu again select paste, the pasted cell sometimes is not what i copied but some other cell or parts of another cell are included in the pasted cell. what should i be doing. am i copying cells incorrectly.
