Copy/Paste

Hello...

I've been using Maschine for awhile and I'm still baffled on this seemingly simple function: copy/paste. It seems to me, that you would select notes, hit shift + Pad 11 to Copy them, then hit Shift + Pad 12 to paste them according to the Step Grid, as it explains to do in the manuel, and you would see notes appear later in the pattern. nope doesn't work. What am I missing?

hmm don't know what's the problem with that? Works fine for me.

See pics, grid length is 1/1 and voila, there they are.

 

you're right , its working for me now too....hmm , i could swear 3-4 weeks before i tried my ass off , and it didnt work.......(as the linked thread shows i was not the only one )
good for me , bad for mr defekt (perhaps a different user -name could solve this ? )

 

I think I just realized that when I was doing it, it was copying and pasting right onto the notes that were already there... apparently I gotta nudge them into place.... Thats the only way I've really figured out to do it.
