copying audio to Kontakt from Sonar

I use Sonar 3.1 with Kontakt and would like to drag audio clips from Sonar into Kontakt. When I try it I get a + symbol and it copies but nothing appears in Kontakt. If I copy it to Soundforge it's fine so it looks like a bug in Kontakt. Cheers for any ideas.

Is that supposed to work like that? I can't drag Cubase audio files into Kontakt.

 

you drag the audio in Sonar into Kontakt what?
that's not going to work. Save audio as a wave file make into
loop file whatever then load it up in Kontakt. I don' think you can just drag the audio into Kontakt. I use Sonar Producer 3
and the latest version of Kontakt.

'Drag and Drop From Finder and Desktop


Extended drag and drop functionality further enhances the workflow with KONTAKT. Drag and drop support is now no longer limited to the KONTAKT browser: files and instruments can also be dragged and loaded directly into KONTAKT from the desktop, from folders and from the finder or file explorer.'

 

Yes, but that doesn't say in any way that you can drag audio from a sequencer host to Kontakt. I can drag from any Explorer Window to Kontakt, no problem.
