View attachment 74149 I'm creating a switch in core , and I'm encountering some problems
Example 1 screenshot , the switch is just a simple knob with 2 positions , -1 and +1
Depending on the comparison sign (greater then zero ) , I can switch between the two input signals ( saw , square ) , works perfectly

Example 2 screenshot , I inserted a latch module before the merge , result only one input is let through .

Example 3 , replacing the sr.c of the latch module with the aud View attachment 74147 io input again solves the problem >
    ANy reason why example 2 refuses to work ? 1.jpg 2.jpg 3.jpg

if the merge module receives events at it´s inputs simultaneously, the value of the lower input gets forwarded

Yes , but in example 3 the merge should also receive simultenous events , unless I am mistaken
Since the latch is triggered by the audio signal itself , both saw and square comes from the same osc

nope, in example three the latch is clocked by the output of the router, so only gets driven when the greater than comparison is false - in example 2 it's clocked by SR.C so gets driven all the time and so overrides the saw signal with a steady value.
