Correction: Why Does In-Place Auditioning Sound Better Than Loading on a Pad?

    I sent this before but mis-named it. Why is it when I listen to a Sample via In-Place Auditioning, it sounds better than when I actually load it onto a pad? I'm talking about loading the Sample onto a new pad in a new project.

    Thanks for replying. I checked volume in 2 ways; 1. on the In-Place Auditioning itself. Even on the lowest of volumes, you can hear the quality and depth of the kick drum that makes it unique. 2. When I loaded the patch into a pad, all I got was a dull thud. Even when I turned up the volume on the pad, it was still a dull thud...
