Correctly synced loop slices?

    Hi all,

    I love Traktor for the iPad, but I'm a bit frustrated by the looping features. I want to have a loop going from a track, freeze it and then play parts of that loop. The problem is many times when I play a slice from the loop it falls out of sync with the loop (as in, the red play bar and the blue slice bar aren't matched up).

    This becomes an especially big problem when I want to play two a two-slice sub-loop from the overall loop, using two of my fingers. I can never get the timing right and it sounds bad.

    Anyone have experience with this and any tips? If this functionality worked as expected, my iPad would be my goto piece of gear.

    What quantisation setting are you using?

    My understanding of this feature is that the main loops is always running, and you can jump playback to the beat you touch on, but then it always jumps back to where it was in the loop, not the next beat immediately after the slice you touched.

    Can you maybe record this as a youtube video from your phone or something to help explain why it isn't working for you?

    The problem seems to happen regardless of quantization. Its set to 1 bar here, but whether I set it to 1/4 beat or 1 bar, often times it seems that the slice(s) I've triggered will not be in time with the global loop playback.

    The second part of the video is a different bug in the loop player, where the "global loop playback" bar (blue) goes crazy and shows up outside the actual playback. Wondering if my problem above is also a bug.
