Hello fellas! First here is my setup

    Windows 7 Acer laptop - 2.6 i5 processor with 8 gig ram.
    Traktor Scratch pro
    Traktor Z2
    2x 1210's

    So here is my problem.
This weekend when i started traktor, the load tab went crazy every time i used both turntables at the same time (not a problem i have had before). it continuesly went into the red zone and the sound went all like "RRRRRRRRRRRRRRR".
My first initial thought was a problem with my computer since i didnt change anything in traktor, so i cleaned it, removed virus, defraged and so on, but no change. I then reinstalled traktor and again no change.

I still have not found a solution for this but it seems like there's sort of a pattern to the increased CPU usage after i decreased my latency settings so it wouldnt be as hard on my CPU.

The pattern went something along the lines of: with 1 turntable running it went from 15% usage up to boarderline red every minute or so, but without having an effect on the sound.
if i started analyzing a track in that period the sound would go nuts and the load tab with go full red.

i have no idea what to do about this besides getting a mac eventually...

    Help?

getting a mac won't solve anything, my advise is to not analyze tracks while playing live. Analyze everything before hand, I leave it over night to analyze.

It might be a problem with your Keylock settings.

check if it is operating in power saver mode or high performance. Choose high performance setting and also unchek multicore support.

you may try reinstalling the software and also try a different usb port
