    tested yesterday.
bug when controlling 4 decks with one timecode player has gone. no more crackles.
the cpu meter in t2 to me seem more "nervous" than before anyway, it is not that constant.....?

but i have recognized the following....
when switching in between layouts via a midi knob, t2 is going crazy. especially when all 4 decks are playling, even if the tc is not even running?

    is that normal?

plus if i am loading a 1h mix in each deck just press play, and wait a few minutes the error counter of buffer underruns equals a second counter meaning it rises each second +1?

    cheers
    chill

    No Changes

New T2 2.0 has had no effect on the issue I'm having. Music still randomly stutters and that is my only issue. I have no other programs running. I'm running Windows 7 on ASUS Notebook with a 3.0 GB RAM, Pentium Dual-Core CPU T4400 2.20 GHZ, 64-bit operating System. I use 2 Scratch Decks which I control with Timecoded Vinyl with 2 Sample Decks. Everything else is perfectly other than randomly stuttering music. It does it every 30-40 secs or so and when it does while I'm blending is the absolute worse. I'm going to uninstall everything and re-install it and see if that makes a difference and even start a new profile as previously suggested. This is very depressing for me because I had hope to have all of my problems and be able to dj this weekend without any issues but it turns out as of now, my music will stutter all night and everyone will look at my crazy from time to time and I'll have to play it off.

The Hotfix was kind of effective on my older computer but has no effect on my newer computer. I run Traktor on two different computers and my older back up works better. Same songs, same card...what is the issue? My older computer runs Windows Vista, 1 point somethin processor and only 2GB of RAM and my newer computer is slighty better but works WORSE.
    ---
And why the hell does the cpu bar fluctuate so much when NOTHING is going on?

You're running Vista... theres probably LOADS going on in the background.

As Lethal says, if you haven't yet checked the the Windows Tuning Tips then that is the first thing you should do.

    i have no problems

Currently i have no problems with TSP2.. my computer is 4 years old running windows XP.. if you search for my older posts i explain how to fix the problem.. of course it was to much for the people who read it so it fell on deaf ears.

    Computer specs:
    Acer travelmate 7500

    Amd athlon 64 x2 TK57 2.8ghz
    4gb ram
    not so great video card

    ------

Reinstalled windows without installing any drivers except the wireless and it fixed all dropout/click/pop problems

But thats if i dissable the wireless if my wireless is going it uses latency which causes occasional dropouts and problems.

    ---------------

Oh wait the latency issue has been covered or people went into great detail about how it could be or not.. im just sayin my method worked out perfectly. Latency(which is the cpu bar jumping around) or not it worked for me.. i covered everything.. making a new user account(didnt work) dissabling devices(with drivers installed) didnt work. The only thing that worked was a complete wipe of the system and not installing any drivers what so ever(except for the wireless lan driver).

I mean someone out there needs to try it.. back up everything and do a complete windows install and dont install any drivers. the worst thing that can happen is that you end up back where you started.. plus side you end up with a complete empty fast windows.

Ps: your music and everything should always be backed up anyways

The damn 30 minute damn version I had worked better than the version I paid $80 bucks for! I had no issues with it! SO WHAT WAS CHANGED?
