cpu spikes with chan. message modules

    Has anyone else had issues with significant cpu spikes when using chan. message modules? I am building a sequencer, and I get really nasty cpu spikes when sending midi messages. Rerouting the input of the chan. message to numerical readouts for debugging makes the spikes disappear, so it seems to be related to the chan. message module, rather than some weird error in my structure.
