    Hello,

I am having issues where their is a crackling popping sound. I am just playing on the Komplete Kontrol app by itself. The cracking and popping happens when I press more than 3 keys for the most part. For example when I’m using the gentleman’s piano. And pressing more than 3 keys or even using the sustain pedal the crackling gets worse.

    I am using a S88 Mk2
As interface I am using a focusrite Scarlett 4i4
I am also using a windows desktop
That has a intel core I9 and 64gb RAM
For headphones I am using Audio technica ATH-M50x

If you need more info please let me know so I can get this issued fixed ASAP. As this is very annoying when trying to play and learn.

This is an issue with your audio setup with your audio device. Search main site for the tutorial on optimizing Windows for audio, if there was not a tutorial on the focusrite site.

I'm having similar issues with the piano VSTs running through Komplete Kontrol, the popping of the sound seems to be connected to using the sustain pedal, i.e. sometimes when I lift the pedal the sound pops and cuts off. This does not happen with other VST like the LABS pianos or the Logic pro grand piano.

It seems this one is having exactly the same problem (no answer yet):

    I'm using a s61
    Interface: Audient iD4
    Mac Mini 2018, i7 32GB
    headphones AT-M50
    Sustain pedal: M-audio Gear

I had a similar problem. Changing the buffer size from the default 64 to 128 fixed that for me. According to Iker at NI, you may need to adjust the buffer size depending on what you're doing... playing straight from KK or using your DAW, etc.
