Crackling in Cubase until SD reset.

    I have a project in Cubase SX 1.06/XP with a couple of SD 1.5.2 instances.

    On the first playback after loading the project I get horrible crackling. This can be cured by disabling and re-enabling either one of the SD inserts in the SX mixer. Thereafter, no problems.
    The whole thing runs at about 40% of the 2GHz DAW.

    Any ideas?

    Hmm. Been sitting here for a week and only 12 views.
    Next time I'll write OSX in the title, even if I am using XP.
