hey folks! have a problem with my omni controller, it keeps crashing when i'm mixing.
does this have anything to do with the sample rate and latency. i'm using a macbook pro so i think the spec good enough for the controller.

I have the same problem. I have numark omni control and traktor pro.
My numark omni control lose the connection with my laptop. On the first time i using traktor LE. I change and i buy traktor pro but the problem is still there. I change my laptop , but after a 4-5 party's(about 40-50 hours) problems back again.
The music is stoped , it's appears a sound like a bep bep bep....and the light from the console is close. If i check out the usb cable and i put in back the console numark omni control is back in life.
    What should i do ?
Im using windows vista. My laptops are toshiba and dell.

    1) Update to the latest version 1.2.7

    2) How are they connected? directly or via a hub? If a hub: is it powered or unpowered?

in the first week with my omni control I had the same problem.
sorted with a shorter and shielded USB cable.

another way: connect the omni control with an extra power supply, maybe the usb power is not sufficient.

    Hy Tom!
When you have the same problem like me , when omni control lost the connection with laptop you have a sound in the speakers like...pac pac pac..bep bep ..:).
I use the original usb cable.
How did you resolve the problem? You use extra power supply ?
I want buy Denon mc-6000 , i saw that you have this console. Do you like how working dennon ?
    Thank you !

I changed the USB calbe after I had problems during the installation process.
I installed the OMNI control driver with the mentioned shorter USB cable and it works fine. I had no other devices plugged to the USB port, so I didn't need extra power.
After that, I just tried the original cable for fun and had freezes and total system stops. There was no sound played after the crash.
The Omni control was good for many parties (weddings, birthdays), but I wanted to control 4 Decks comfortable and I'm a "Mr. Play It Safe" so I better spend a few bucks more to have reliable and more professional equipment.

The denon offers me a solid controller, very solid housing, knobs and faders - AND it's an analogue stand-alone mixer so I don't have to carry an extra mixer for backup. I bought a special offer with a magma flight-case.
I just connect my iPhone (used in iPod mode) for emergency (but I never had to use it so far).

Of course the Denon is not cheap, but still a bargain!
For me it's worth it every cent, so I sold my Numark last week.

I've tried updating the drivers and changing the usb cables. I've used an updated version of traktor. I thought it could be my laptop because I've had it for long time but I've tested it out on other operating systems. so the problem is still occurring. The thing I've not yet tried is using the power cable. But i've decide am gonna scrap the omni and buy NI S4.
