How long have you been using maschine?

How long have you used version 1 in Ableton?

Its a maschine issue, I couldnt care what you cant replicate in Sonar, in respect, give us the break.

Not only Sonar not reproduced but Live (although it would be good if that got reconfirmed with the video steps).
I make no judgements. "Appear" BTW does not necessarily mean "IS". I do not have access to the source code and nor do you.

So have you reproduced the steps as in the video with Ableton or are you just going to carry on being rude?

    Rude?

    lol

Answer my questions...youve appeared very recently and seem to be racking up posts telling everyone how happy version 2 is in Sonar land

Im saying since the very first click on open many of us have had troubles with maschine v2 in Ableton, and continue to. Ive used version one since a mikro in august 2011..i have no memory of one single freeze or crash in two versions of Live and countless updates of maschine. So frankly, and again with all due respect, I couldnt care less about how fabulous a time a maschine noob is having in sonar. Sorry.

@kcearl please stop deflecting, I'm not making this into a Sonar thread nor am I passing judgements or being rude to you.
#17. Are you able to reproduce what is happening in this video in Ableton? (which will be a different system to Spazoo). Or do you not care?

    > this is def a maschine issue because i'm able to reproduce the same problem using maschine 2 in garage band

At least we are getting somewhere...

OK so you don't care about reproducing the OP's issue you'd rather turn this into a thread about me.

If anybody else can repro or not #17 please paste your findings here specifying your DAW and OS. Your findings will be interesting. The OP has currently reproduced this in Ableton and now Gargeband but so far no other confirmations from other people. Thanks.

I can't seem to recreate the bug here. Same OS versions as Spazoo except i'm using 64 bit versions of both Maschine and Live.

What a lovely openminded bunch of people: :) giving these forums an excellent 'welcome all' reputation. Thankyou for your lovely comments I'm sure they are well deserved.
I'd still like to see this repro'd by just one other user. Thanks for feedback puzzlefactory.

The little spat between CakeAlexS and the two of you needs to stop. No need to bring an argument in another thread to this one. Please try and keep a respectful and friendly atmosphere and stop trying to bait users into an argument.

I agree. As you can see I have done my best not to engage into personality wars in this thread and stick to topic and I shall continue to try.

I would love to paste the transcript of those PM's which would make very clear he made no attempt to settle anything, rather escalate, however this is off topic and will make matters worse.

However I agree with b-righteous this has to stop, the argument should not have been brought into this thread, I made no attempt to do so myself. I hope we can stick to topic, I should be allowed to post anywhere I like providing I am polite and courteous which sadly doesn't seem to be happening towards me, nevermind. And it seems no number of public apologies that are made, they simply will not be accepted. I will continue to post on principle and I will continue to stick to topic and try to be polite. I would like to remind the OP and the other guy that they are not the forum police. I hope a line can be drawn.

And I will still like to see if anybody else could reproduce this issue, so far we only have one person.

i confirmed that the bug also exists in Windows 8, although it looks a bit different.

instead of the timecode displaying a negative number (as it does on a mac) it displays 00:00:00

the maschine sequencer also stops running. i was unable to get it started again.
