hello there... (forgive me for my english)

im trying to build a simple compressor while understanding all the signal flow, the components to be used & their parameters & constants. i have tried to look at an existing compressor & understand it fully, & i've searched over the net for relevent info - with no succes.

i'll be very pleased if i can get some help here, it means a lot to me..

thank you for the reply aleks.

well, i understand very good in theory how a compressor works...
i have looked in a reaktor core compressor - & i've tried to understand how it works step by step, but i could understand just part of the process.

Just type "GCD" into the search field. Put the kettle on. Read about Chris List's compressor.

there's a very good tutorial for pd avaiable online, in german and english language - check out the link below, chapter 3.9 "amplitude correction". i know, it's not a reaktor tutorial, but if you read and understand it, you can easily adopt it to reaktor:

    http://www.pd-tutorial.com/

(by the way, many of the books contents are very easy to build in reaktor too)
