Creating loop points in Audition? Is it possible?

    I'm posting this here because I think it's a Kontakt issue(but I'm not sure).

Basically, I want to be able to create cue points in Audition and have Kontakt recognize them and use them as loop points. I KNOW Kontakt can recognize loop points because when I export files with cue points from some other apps, it sees them.

However, when I do it from Audition, it doesn't work.

But the odd part is that the loop points exported using Audition ARE recognized by at least one other sampler that somebody confirmed for me.

So does anyone do this with Audition and Kontakt?

I do not use the program but almost all "markers" are recoginised by every other audio program and sampler so I would just double check that you are using the correct markers and if unsure check the manual or try out a few diffrent markers and see if they show up in battery.

Just out of curiosity why not just use the wave editor in kontakt to make your loops that way you can be sure that it aligns correctly and also you can set up multiple loop points for sustaining loops?

Well, I prefer the ease of use and precision of Audition. I still may just have to use Kontakt for it.

I've tried different marker types already and it doesn't seem to work. I'll try it with another sampler just to see if it works there, but somebody else said it did for them in VSampler. Plus, cue points made in Reaper worked for me(I don't own Reaper though).

There's GOT to be a way to do this, even if it's my mistake(very likely).

I got it to work! I just found it based on a suggestion by someone at KVR.

The normal markers alone won't be saves as loop points. If you right click on the wave file and select "File info", there are several tabs. One of them is called "Sampler" where you can set several loop points and their behaviors, and some more things that are sampler related. And Kontakt works with them!

It's actually quite a bit more features than I was looking for. So I'm very happy about it.

    Thanks for trying to help!
