I Am Creating my new list of products and Maschine expansions that I will have on the timeline for release this year and before I finalize the list I want your input.

As a Maschine user what sort of expansions are you most interested in? Do you prefer large libraries (such as the fineline expansion) that cover drums and instruments as well as a large number of new drum groups.
Would you like to see more large instrument only libraries such as maschinestrument and synthexium?
Do you prefer focused smaller drum packs like the stim pack and the drum potion series?

I don't like to do "genre" expansions as I feel that is a tad limiting and silly.
But what sort of sounds would you like to have more of instantly available in Maschine? My ears are open so that you can help me help you ;)
This is going to be a big year now that fluxwithit and themaschinewarehouse have teamed up. We are looking to provide a lot of content but we want it to not only be the best content available, but we want it to be right up your alley.
Let us know here, on my website, on our Facebook group (and the producers hangout) or over at themaschinewarehouse.com

Looking forward to 2015 being the year of Maschine .

    Hope you all are well!

Vocals anything from Dark Metal to Gregorian Chants to Church to word voices Irish African Island South American etc , etc. Same thing I ask for every time someone asks.

Some wavetable soundscapes would be nice, and Polynesian and Hawaiian, Island, Maori, Japanese traditional, anything like that rhythms and instruments.

The Fineline library is without a doubt one of the best sample libraries I've heard. More of the same please!

    Thanks for the kind response.

As far as vocals, I have been considering it for some time, the struggle is to do it in a Maschine centered way that won't come off cheesy . I do however live in an area with a large hardcore and metal scene (Delaware philly jersey area) and have been involved in the scene some years ago. I may see what I can get out of it and possibly get some vocal stabs. I'm sure I could talk to my friends in well known bands from this area to do a test kit or two. I could definitely do some guitar centered sounds and as for chants. The biggest hardship on that (aside from finding the suitable choir) is recording and processing a choir takes quite a bit of work. Unfortunately the market demand (and sales losses due to piracy) may make that a bit difficult to justify as an expense . (A recording session of that sort would easily cost me quadruple in session fees alone, so I would have to be very very sure of my sales figures ahead of time). I do want to do a choir instrument, but I am doubtful it will be done in Maschine.

Thanks for the reply and please keep the suggestions coming!

I understand completely! I have never sampled but it just might be the best way to get what I want form some old albums maybe.

Not much to add, but for me, I appreciate focused tools that do things well (if only one thing).

I'm the same with sample packs. My 2p

    Hi All,
I am the guy behind and also a content provider for themaschinewarehouse.com and now that me and Flux302 have linked up I am stoked to bring even better content to Maschine users. Me and Flux302 differ in the genre based expansion department however cause I enjoy those type of expansions. So shoot what type of genre based expansion would you like to see more of?
We also have some content specific types of expansions on tap (but we're keeping that under wraps for now). But everyone chime in and let us know what you would like to have in your arsenal!

I'd love a Chicago house library along the lines of stuff that came out on labels like Trax, DJ International, Cajual, Relief, Dance Mania etc, something along the lines of this https://www.samplemagic.com/details/308/jack-house. Also a dark techno soundset like N.I Grey Forge.

I don't know how popular this would be but would personally love a solid big band, swing, jazz drums and percussion set. I am thinking 20's -60's style music, wide range I know. I doubt I would be making this style of music but always love the kits and percussion used.

I'm not fully opposed to em... I Just really like to keep the door open for flexibility ;) as for focused... I tend to get focused in terms of what the product is, so Maschinestrument is all instruments. its basically like buying a high quality Kontakt or Omnisphere like instrument, Dystopia is like buying a library of disturbing found sounds. etc. FineLine is more broad sweeping though... so maybe I am full of crap lol.
I am really looking forward to the next few products I have in the pipe.

one question I do have though. I have built an instrument in maschine some time ago that I decided not to release because I felt it might be to complicated for users to understand. so I will ask here. How would you all feel about a 127 wave oscillator, wavetable synth built entirely in maschine that you can fully control all the oscillators in maschine. only downside is you have to control them in the sample zone window to handle the each level of the oscillators.

Love wavetable so I would consider it, it would depend on hearing some samples and seeing how you would use them, if it looked doable for me then I would be in.
