can NI match the gravitas of Akai offering; they have the skills but do they have the vision to take bold action on maschine because the last few updates have lacked purpose

 

I just read the quote “Maschine will include all new features in an upcoming update which is currently scheduled to be released shortly after October 27th.” to mean "all new features" of Komplete Kontrol will be included in an upcoming version for Maschine too. Not a brand new update packed with ALL NEW FEATURES like we hope.

 

dats what I thought I did not expect any significant update or answer back from NI until 1st quater next year; as they will want to wait and see how the touch does and then come in and improve upon its faults..

 

at this point, i would be happy if my ability to use Maschine within Sonar as a vst was restored, as it has been broken for almost 5 months now. this is getting pretty tiring. i am surprised a major company can function like this. i guess i would have a different attitude if i had the money lying around to make some sort of switch, but alas, i don't. i realize NI is "working on it" but really, 5 months?
ps. if this problem were fixed, i would be pretty damn happy with Maschine

Yeah, I did not read through all the comments on the article but sounds like the OP misquoted.
“Maschine will include all new features in an upcoming update which is currently scheduled to be released shortly after October 27th.” Sounds different then the subject tittle.

 

Why Q1 next year? when all previous big Maschine announcements were Q4?

I dont think NI would wait to q4 while akai drops a bunch of new products

 

We already are in Q4, and MK2 was 3 years ago. I still have hopes on MK3 announced on next weeks.

I'm pretty sure NI started MK3 development way earlier than Akai came up with a psudo-tablet mpc toy.

 

I'm really excited for this new update
