Funny thing is I just realize that you can open KK in Ableton Live and play with arpegiator, chords and browser on any keyboard . Had a great late session yesterday with that discovery lol

With so many fond memories of how cleanly and effectively NI rolled out 2.0 please allow me to remain completely unimpressed with promises, roadmaps and speculation until well after the fact...

The guys from NI must be standing in the hallway with their arms crossed, shaking their heads in bewilderment while observing all of this :D

They're laughing their a$$3$ off at us. This is the most activity they've had on this site in ages!!!

They're probably adding a day to the release(s) every time we add a new page to this thread.

At this point it would be nice if someone from PR department log here just to say "We will show something soon" or "Sorry guys, we are not going to have somthing big until mid 2016 or more".

I don't see how those abstract statement could hurt their strategy againts the competency. Having radio silence with your customers is not good for their loyalty.

    Hype going down.

Fm8 and Massive updates are in service center now... along with some sparse notes about maschine embedded displays...

    Slightly misleading...

    It says:
I take this to refer to the way Komplete Kontrol embeds the GUI (of Massive, FM8 etc.) inside itself. And how Maschine embeds the plugins in the mixer view. Nothing about "displays".

I always thought the "new" mini GUIs for the NI plugins were originally intended to be displayed on the Studio screens (as well as the new GUIs for the built in plugins that appear on the mixer window) and that something somewhere between "concept" and "implementation" went awry.

I personally think they are pretty useless on the computer screen and they seem to be just the right dimensions to fit on the studio displays.

Welp guess I better hold off on buying the Push for a couple of days just to see what happens. May cop a KK instead if song mode in maschine is updated.

Other than that the update is not at all BIG and pretty meh for those of us who don't use sonar...
Or am I not seeing something here?

We are truly idiots for riding the hype.

If it took them 5 months to fix THIS issue, what are we to hope for really? :D

There was way too much hype for this update. That much hype leads to big let downs.
