Kudos to Steinberg for adding VST Expression Maps in Cubase 5. I've created a few for Kontakt patches, and they make working with articulations in Kontakt *much* easier. They support both keyswitches and patch switching, but unfortunately not X-Fades.

Steinberg is developing VST Expression Maps for the instruments in Halion. I hope NI considers doing the same for Kontakt.

I'll buy it if and when they provide an option to use the score dynamics as cc values for smooth crescendo. As is, you can only send dynamics to velocity, right? Shame if its as written in the manual. Overture has had the VST expression maps for years, plus the ability to send dynamics and hairpins to any CC.

I have created some for EQQLSO. I have looked at expression maps a lot and cannot find a way to get the maps to support more than one articulation per notation symbol - a big drawback, but still worth doing if you dont care about the score, or you dont care about the sound (and only need the score).
Lets hope they redesign. What on eath is the point of a sound slot?

    Why no X-Fade?

Are you saying VST Expression doesn't support X-Fade instruments? I sure hope not!
