In Cubase v4.x, I create several Instruments tracks that use Kore. In Kore v1.x, each instance of a Kore Instrument could be accessed from the Sound button on the Kore Controller. With Kore v2 software, pressing the Sound button shows only see one Kore Instrument, the one associated with the first instance of the Instrument Tracks.

As a work-around, I removed the Instrument Tracks, placed Kore v2 in the VSTi list (F11) and added MIDI tracks for the associated Instrument Tracks. I created a Kore Performance of the desired sounds with each sound responding to a different MIDI Channel. The Kore Controller now shows all of the instruments within the Performance. And, they respond to their respective MIDI Channel as set in the the MIDI Tracks. This new approach works but increases ASIO reading from 32% to 46%. I am using the Kore2.vst not the Kore2 2x16.vst.

Is this how I should expect the Kore v2 software to work, MIDI versus Instrument Tracks? And, is there another way to approach the situation wherein Kore v2 would use less resources like v1.x software?

    Thanks, CS.

Hit the esc button; the controller will change to instances. Hold down the view button and use the controller buttons above and below the knobs to select your instance.
