Cubase Drag and Drop Option

Hehe, well Steinberg says it is VST3 Standard with the XML.
But NI doesn´t support vst 3 ;-)

 

Well, other DAW vendors are not obliged to listen to whatever Steinberg says. That's why it works with other DAWs.

 

either way, it's bloody ignorant on both sides, steinberg and NI, and the customer is the one suffering.

 

That's very true. The customer, on the other hand, always has the choice of switching DAWs, or samplers.

 

I´am very happy that private persons make such tools like vst-xml translator to gain drag and drop for NI Samplers (Battery,Maschine,Kontakt) with Cubase .
I dont want to disclaim either Cubase or Ni Samplers.

...and I don´t understand that Ni or Steinberg blocks this development...

Now that C7 is out without any improvement let's ask NI again: any plans for this?

 

the problem now is only on mac because on win 8.1 i can drag and drop samples
