Alrite, I'm looking to have a midi controller control a loop so it can move backwards or forwards. I would have thought this was the cue/loop move command. The track will play from the loop distance either side but it wont bring a loop with it or place a temporary cue point at that point.

    Any ideas? cheers

Set the mode to "loop" in the "move" section of the advanced panel. depending on how this is set, it will move either the beat, loop in, loop out, or loop.

I'm not in front of Traktor right now, but I'm working on a map that includes all the beatjump and loop functions. I can't remember off the top of my head how to set it up, but I'll get back to this when i get home later.

With a Loop set and active, and the Mode set to Loop in the Move Panel, you should be able to move the Loop freely around a track with the Cue/Loop Move command. The Size setting will have an affect on how far the Loop moves. If the Mode is set to Beatjump, the Loop will stay where it is.
