Cue Point Labels

I used serato again to day and forgot how use full having the marker labels all showing at once was really handy. You dont wanna flick through markers to see what they are , would be great to have the 1st 5 or 5 cue point of choice custom labels showing somewhere predominately on the screen.

 

what do you mean with "what they are"? you can clearly see if they're loops or cue points or gridmarker etc.

What i mean is you cannot see the label of the cue point , in serato all cue points are clearly visible with the labels you make . In traktor you can only see the label by clicking the actual cue point. In serato i can have labels like "intro" "verse" "break" etc all easy to see at once.

 

now that is a great idea labeling them is useless if we have to click on the cue point to see the label . We need to see the labels by maybe hovering over them or directly on the waveform .

You can see the cue point labels without jumping to the cue point. In the "Cue Point Name Display" there's a little arrow to the right of the text. If you click on that arrow, a pop-up will open listing all 8 cues and their labels. Now, if that could somehow accessed and displayed on a controller like the S8, rather than having to use the computer, then I would be grateful

 

I agree, colors and labels for cue points would be a very nice addition

 

It's already possible to mod the S8 displays to display the cue point labels, but the displays are just too small to display them in the normal deck view.
