whats are you all doing? i been too busy with GAS and learning FL to visit.

Companies are organic in nature. they grow, shrink, change all the time. I used to be a big Novell and SUSE fan boi. Now there is a company and went through complete machine wash tumble of employee turnovers and ownership turnover. Still kicking around somehow.

Dont worry about this and dont read glassdoor. Its 99% disgruntled employees. Some people become crazy lying psychpaths when they lose jobs.

The "layoffs" could be an indicator of bad HR decisions in the recent past and now they need to correct it. Maybe they hired too many people too quickly without a clear path or strategy as to how they were going to go in the direction they hoped to go in and had too many people just sitting around on the payroll doing nothing so had to fix it. Its impossible to know because the only people privy to this info are the people that are at the upper tier who are paid to make those decisions.

It could be anything really. Really, pointless speculating, especially from glassdoor activity. Only thing you can do is book mark the news announcements URL and wait and see what the company announces.

My own perspective as a customer and user. I am a little underwhelmed at the sounds.com and machine stuff integration and updates. Thats mainly because i dont use or subscribe to sounds.com. I had hoped updates to the Maschine software itself instead.

I am a little underwhelmed with my Jam investment. I have a feeling its an abandoned product. I dont know. But the truth is, i haven't invested as much time as hoped to use it.

So all one can do is sit and wait and see whats happening in next quarter. Probably by early 2020 there will be better idea of what is happening to the products we use and buy from NI.

    Aggressive? Hmmm , sensitive.
I think I just edited my post not because it was aggressive just because it was going off topic , feel free to ignore me
I generally only come here to help people out , not to get involved with all the politics and conspiracy’s.

Same. I really love it in my setup, (together with the Maschine Mk3), but for example I was at superbooth this year, and NI's stand was great full of gear but not even a single JAM in sight.

I don't think anybody is complaining about NI improving their products and changing them. As with Gearslutz, a lot of people kill time during rendering on the forums.

I'm surprised people are still willing to believe this is all gonna be part of something positive in the end. Restructuring! Maximizing potential! Infinite growth! Do more with less! But whatever... I just hope everyone affected can move on to greener pastures.

Companies and organizations change. Sometimes restructuring is a good thing if its needed. Look at how Apple reinvented itself from a total dead beat in the industry.

Just wait and see what happens and where it goes. Bottom line is, the entire recent history of that Massive X release was a little weird. I dont recall too many product launches that went that strangely.

NI's social media hasn't been updated in 6 days. A bit unusual.

I saw several YouTubers uploading their content from having been to Berlin to celebrate the 10th anniversary, and were given an orange Maschine. Perhaps they're lagging behind on preparing content of their own about it?
