    Hi guys,

Quick question about Traktor Pro 2.1.1 for Windows.

I use the internal mixer with my computer only, no controller.

I tried to upgrade to 2.1.2, and the upgrade failed. Then I had to reinstall 2.1.1, and everything seems to be working fine except possibly for one feature.

When I use my mouse to "turn" knobs on the internal mixer (gain, Hi, Lo, Mid, etc.) my mouse cursor disappears as I click on the knob and move the mouse up and down to turn the knob. This seems to make sense, but is it normal behavior for Traktor, or is this a glitch?

More of a problem, when I use my mouse to move slider controls on the internal mixer (volume, crossfader, etc.) the mouse cursor also disappears. Is this the way Traktor is supposed to function? I don't remember the cursor disappearing before when I used the mouse to move slider controls.

Is the cursor supposed to disappear when turning knobs and/or when moving slider controls on the internal mixer with the mouse?

I'm a noob, and I can't remember if these disappearing cursors are the way Traktor has always behaved or if this is some glitch that happened when I had to reinstall after the failed upgrade.

Thanks in advance for any help with this question.

Can't anyone at least tell me if the behavior I'm seeing with respect to the disappearing mouse cursor on slider ui elements is either normal or an error?

(I've tried reinstalling a couple of different ways and still get the same behavior, but I just don't remember the mouse cursor disappearing when moving slider controls before my failed update.)

I'm just trying to see if I actually have a problem or not.

A quick check from someone else interacting with Traktor using their mouse would provide the answer. (Tempo slider, volume slider, crossfader slider, etc.)

    Thanks.

thanks a ton for the feedback!

Good to know that Traktor is still working properly for me and that the failed update didn't cause any problems.

Odd that I never noticed this behavior before...

This happened tonight at a gig. I was really surprised. I've not updated anything on my computer in months. I am surprised that this unusual occurrence has happened.

I had to cmd+tab to finder and back again to make my mouse pointer reappear.

Not only did my cursor/pointer disappear when moving sliders/faders, the faders would flick back to the initial position.

    Fustrating when playing live.

That's something else. I think it's more of a OS thing, I use to get that (vanishing pointer) once in a while until I updated my OS.
