Custom FX selection per FX Unit

So say I am running 2 or 4 FX units. Right now, if I make all effects available in the settings, on each unit I have to cycle through all the effects.

I would like the capability to make available certain effects to FX Units.

Ex: 4 FX units, all advanced mode:

FX Unit 1 can only cycle through: Delay, Delay T3, Filter
FX Unit 2 can only cycle through: Reverb, Reverb T3, Beatslicer
FX Unit 3 can only cycle through: Filter LFO, Phaser
FX Unit 4 can only cycle through: Formant Filter, Peak Filter

I like this because then I won't have to cycle through the whole list, I will know at least which FX Unit to start off on if I want to find an effect fast.

 

I think you maybe able to do this already if you are using a MIDI controller.

If you have each fx select function on a different knob you could do this with modifiers. You'd need a different modifier for each FX unit, so you'd need 4.

 

+1 for this. Although there is a possible workaround to this problem you end up needing to sacrifice some functionality for this. For example, I use the X1 as my controller and if I want to quickly call up effects in the chained mode then I either have to sacrifice a button that takes away functionality, or limit myself to the number of effects I have access to.

To take this even further I would love to be able to group effects in chained mode and be able to cycle through ones that I feel work well together (e.g. Beatmasher, LFO, Delay; Gater, Flanger, Iceverb; etc...)

I am not sure if I am following you correctly.

I already have MIDI controls setup to select effects on all 4 units and all modes. What i want is that each FX Unit, in the options menu, allows me select effects i want selectable in each specific unit.
