hello to all, this is my first post here. I'm using reaktor 5 as an instrument in logic Pro 8, and i would like to make an automation on the cut off parametre. i see i have a choice between hundreds of parameters. I son't know which one is the but-off, and what are the others. Is there somewhere a list of the pareùetgres and their respective numbers ?

    thank you very much

    Happy to resurrect this thread:

Protesta: Turn on the info/hint option in the plugin window (looks like an 'I' with a mouse cursor). This will show what each parameter is called after you hover the cursor over it. Beyond that, you do have to wade through all the plugin automation parameters until you find what you're looking for. The order is relatively intuitive... ie 'Filters:1:Frequency:Cutoff'

Now for my inquisitive contribution to this thread: Just how are we supposed to record automation from Reaktor into Logic?

I can't get anything by using touch/latch, or mapping parameters to MIDI control surfaces. I can only control automation through manually writing it.

I've searched the web, and the only information I could find reffered to instrument ID numbers being incompatible somehow - but from what I gather, this was primarily an issue with custom patches. I can't even get automation recording to work w/ unaltered factory instruments.

I'm using Logic 9 and Reaktor 5 on OS 10.6.2. This seems to be an isolated Reaktor issue, as Massive and Absynth have no trouble recording automation.

please be specific about what Ensemble you are trying this with, and even the Parameter in the Ensemble.

there are reasons why this might not work, but we need to know exactly what you are trying to do.

    hi Sowari,

Sorry - I'm using the Green Matrix, and attempting to automate the filter cutoff.

I've actually since found the solution thanks to a user over at http://www.logicprohelp.com. Apparently, the instrument ID also causes trouble w/ factory patches as well...

Basically, you just have reassign each parameter you want to use to an ID number under 128, since Reaktor only outputs up to 128 points of automation (as I understand). This worked for me, and now I can record automation using touch/latch in Logic.

Hopefully they can address this problem before planet Nibiru comes crashing into us.

Are there any less-tedious workaround for this problem, Sowari?

    Thanks!
