Cyber Season Sales?

anyone know if these are coming this month - be great to do some upgrades

i saw there were discounted - offer % off for Komplete 13 select ------ hope there's some for us who already have that ++++

 

I'm surprised it's been this long before someone asked! My guess is this Thursday might see something, if not next Tuesday. The cycle seems to be one year is 1/2 price upgrade, the other is half-price various bits. I think we're due half-price upgrades, but I've not double checked the history and it might change of course.

 

That would be great -- i want to upgrade komplete 13

support told me wait/look out for newsletters - something obviously coming

 

if you are soundtoys user-

their black Friday deals are 50 % discount for new customers- nothing for existing users/upgrades -
or the upgrade cost same as a new customer getting full packages - ??

I see the sale is up. Around 30% on bundle upgrades where I was hoping for 50% like I think we had before. Also a whole bunch of 50% deals in individual bits. I need to rethink my strategy

 

yea its not quite 50% on upgrades but still better than a lot of other vendor have done recently - im upgrading my Komplete bundle

 

It used to be 50% on Bundles for years...... Good luck I have upgraded year ago... But you are right, it is game changer and I probably will not upgrade every 2 years, if the discount is only 30% (I have K13U CE - lots of plugins to use anyway).
The loss for the both me and NI.

 

for me - even 30 % is better - as would have upgraded anyway -- as mentioned - soundtoys and some others offered nothing
for existing users

 

Just here to say that we had a 50% sale on upgrade/update 6 months ago with Summer of Sound. That level of discount can't happen that regularly honestly.

 

im happy that at least we got something -- as i mentioned other software vendors - seem to have forgot about their existing customers

 

Good point, not your fault the timing didn’t work for me. I’ll probably just grab a couple of bits I really want and hang on for K14 sales in 2023!

Matt, it used to be 50% twice a year on Komplete bundles for years. I do not keep record, but 5 years or so at least.
I agree, it used to be generous from NI. But, times are changing... Buying strategy will have to adapt to a new situation. On the other side there is 50% discount on single licences, which was rather rare in past. Good for those who prefer single plugins to Bundles.
No problem, simply situation has changed.

 

I guess I don't see any sale for upgrades at all, maybe I'm missing something. I'm the owner of Kontakt and would like to upgrade to Komplete 13. The website shows me my upgrade price is $399.00 but that's the price the upgrade has always been. In the summer I believe the upgrade price was around $200 and I've been waiting for that price again before I upgrade.
