Hi, i bought 2 d2s and as i see there is a power supply splitter that comes with each d2. My question is : If i connect these splitters together, then there will be 3 sockets available, will i be able to use the audio 10 aswell with only 1 plug?

The D2 PSU should be the same 15v 2.66A unit that is now the only PSU on the NI store and states that it suits all do the NI devices so voltage will be right. The issue is how many amps each D2 uses plus the TA10, which when you think about it would be close to what an S8 requires and so it may actually work.

Thanks for your answer, that makes sense but should i risk it? I mean would that cause any problems after some time? The thing is yesterday i played in a gig using for the first time 2 d2s and the a10. I didnt know about the splitter(yeah i should have checked whats inside the box better) and i used 3 power supplies + 1 for the laptop thats 4, i mean what the heck?

To remove all doubt you may open a ticket and ask directly to NI.

I just got an official answer from NI yesterday, its not safe to do this so if anyone wants to do this it may cause damage to the controllers and the audio interface. Do not attempt this.

strange answer from NI. Diden´t they test it? I mean it´s not yes and not no, more like may it works, maybe not. Anyway somebody knows if the standard power supply works with one of the D2, because i like to have a second one, just to be save?
