D2 screen problem

Hey,
when I turn D2 on - with or withoout USB connection - its screen stays on "Hold C&D buttons during startup for Vegas Mode" - and thats it. If I connect USB it stays that way - no screen about switching to midi mode. When I open Traktor - evey control works - only screen still shows the same "TRAKTOR KONTROL D2". What can I do before getting mad and returning it?

 

I have exactly the same problem. would really appreciate the help! Screen is stuck on generic message 'TRAKTOR KONTROL D2'

 

I've managed to fix this issue- it was my pc's graphic card. I updated my graphics driver after doing a bit of research online.
I used intel's driver update utility to do this:

I found reinstalling the D2 drivers also helped as well. Might sound silly, but it helped when I had the same thing happen to me.

I've just added a D2 to my Pioneer DJM-900 nexus setup, which arrived in the post last week. I followed the setup instructions 100% and I'm now experiencing exactly the same screen problem, where it only reads "TRAKTOR KONTROL D2". I have no browser and screen functionality, but all the knobs and faders respond in Traktor perfectly well.
I'm busy running Windows 7 32bit, so also updated my graphics driver as per the recommendation above, but still I have had no success.
All my drivers are the latest according to the NI Service Centre.
Assistance would be greatly appreciated.

 

maybe not enough power being supplied to your D2? using a usb hub currently? try direct connection to pc?

 

I'm using the supplied Traktor power adapter with a direct connection to my Windows PC. Screen does not respond.

 

Just upgraded to Traktor 2.10.3 as part of the Beta testing and the problem has disappeared. Thank you NI.

 

Try to hold shift and press back. Sometimes my D2s startup in midi mode for no reason.
