We all have had that humm issue at one point or another, right?

I have found an unexpected source of humm in my system. The DC splitters that come packaged with your D2 are one such source. After placing the DC adapter to each D2 the humm went away. Added the splitters back and more humm (just to verify).

Moral of the story, if you have humm AND use DC splitters, then DONT use DC splitters!

Same here.. Veryfied.. very sad.. Even the spare one i ordered directly from NI has the same issue.

The Idea of this splitter cable is great but the realisation lacks quality.

ProDJ Price (nearly 1000 bucks for both D2) but shielding in Bedroom DJ Quality ;)

I would even say the cheap power supplys are the main issue.
I got the strong feeling there is still a very silent humm when connecting them directly.

Interesting.. Then it maybe might not appear when using only 110Volts?

Maybe having more equipment causes more potential for ground loops

my humm problem was solved was happening to me when i use the controller without shoes , when i use the controller bare foot, probably its using me as ground connection, anyway when im wearing shoes or something in my feets the problem its completely solved
