I purchased this yesterday and followed all the setup steps but am experiencing some issues.

The response from the controller seems very slow and intermitant- if faders or knobs are moved too quick (no quicker than you would need for basic mixing), the software doesn't respond as quick, sometimes not at all. The buttons also do not seem to trigger functions well.

I'm also noticing some problems with the midi maps- touching the left platter makes the cross faders skip around and deck B goes into loop..

I'm getting these problems in both the prepackaged Traktor T1 edition and also when I upgraded to Pro2

I'm hoping someone can offer me some advice on these because so far I've been very disappointed with the T1. Note I had no problems with my old Behringer BCD3000

You probably would need to remove the mappings for the BCD 3000.

In Preferences go to controller manager
Select the Device (BCD 3000) -> Click Edit and hit delete.

    Cannot confirm this..
No Problems with the T1.. Responds quick and plays reliable the whole night through..
No Crash.. no dropouts.. using also an alternate mapping together with xone 1D Devices. Maybe lacks of performance on notebook side?

I don't think it is an issue with the laptop...
I think that the BCD 3000 midi map may be interfering with the t1 midi map

e.g. if the same midi note assignment on the bcd3000 for the cross fader is set to the left platter of the t1 then when u move the platter on the t1 the cross fader will move - same way as if u move the cross fader on the 3000 the left deck will either pitch bend or scratch depending on if scratch mode is enabled

that solved a problem I had with an iPad midi map that interferred with my DDj-T1 midi map

is it normal that midi maps of diffirent devices interfer with each other?

you're welcome LesMecs - It is very normal for midi mappings to interfere with each other.

Every time Traktor receives a midi command it performs all the actions associated with the command. Therefore if device a play button midi command is the same as device b's command to turn on the effects then each time u press play on device a it will also turn on the effects.

    Cheers for the info guys.

I reinstalled the driver and ran the setup wizard again in Traktor for the T1.
Seemed to fix the problem apart from it lost the C&D load commands.

I'm actully now about to upgrade to Windows 7 64 bit so should hopefully be able to reinstall without issues...
